Our Story

Hi, I'm Danielle, the creator behind Tanhead Designs!

The name Tanhead comes from my soul pig, Montana, lovingly nicknamed "Tanhead." She was my very first pet as an adult, my constant companion, and truly my best friend through every season of life. She also brought me my second piggy, Flubber, who was her baby and our furever friend. Their silly personalities, unconditional love, and joy they brought me each day inspired something I dreamt of as a kid, but never visioned as a reality as an adult... A small art business called Tanhead Designs.

Growing up, I always loved art and creating things by hand. As life got busy, that passion took a back seat for a while. It wasn't until I started drawing guinea pig stickers inspired by those two that I rediscovered how much I loved creating. What began as a few fun doodles quickly grew into a way to combine my love for animals, creativity, and spreading a little happiness.

Today, Tanhead Designs creates whimsical, animal-inspired artwork, stickers, and gifts designed to celebrate the special bond we share with our furry, feathered, and wild friends. Many of my designs are inspired by the animals I love most—from guinea pigs and squirrels to raccoons, pigeons, and other charming creatures that make life a little brighter.

My hope is that each design brings a smile to your face, reminds you to embrace your unique self, and adds a touch of wild and whimsy to your day.
